LAS CAMPANAS COMPADRES MINI-TRIATHLON The Las Campanas Compadres is sponsoring a Mini-Triathlon on Monday (Labor Day), September, 5th, 2011. The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. The schedule of events is as follows: 8:30 a.m. – The bike ride will be the first event. Bikers will leave the Spa parking lot and travel SW on Clubhouse Drive. They will proceed West on Las Campanas Drive to Camino La Tierra. They will loop back under the Rock Bridge to Las Campanas Drive, to Clubhouse Drive and return to the Spa. The competitors will then enter the pool, swimming laps. Following this event, the competitors will begin the third leg of the Mini-Triathlon. Walk/Run event will be the third and final event. The walkers/runners will leave the Spa parking lot and will proceed down the right hand side of the right lane of Clubhouse Drive (cones will be placed on the roadway to move traffic to the left). They will then proceed onto W. Golden Eagle and right onto Green Meadow Loop, back to W. Golden Eagle to Amberwood Loop where they will turn around and proceed back on W. Golden Eagle, to Clubhouse Drive and return to the Spa. Volunteers will be posted throughout the race course, with security and paramedics assisting as needed. PLEASE USE CAUTION IN THE RACE AREAS DURING THIS EVENT.
COMMUNITY DOCUMENT “SHRED IT” SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 10TH LAS CAMPANAS OWNERS – MARK YOUR CALENDAR. THE NEXT SCHEDULED COMMUNITY-WIDE DOCUMENT “SHRED IT” WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH FROM 11:00 A.M. TO 1:00 P.M. AT THE LCOA ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE BUILDING AT 366 LAS CAMPANAS DRIVE. THIS IS A SAFE AND SECURE WAY TO SHRED THOSE DOCUMENTS THAT YOU HAVE CARRIED AROUND FOR YEARS. THERE WILL BE TWO ASSOCIATION EMPLOYEES TO ASSIST YOU WITH YOUR BOXES. THIS IS A VERY POPULAR SERVICE PROVIDED TO THE OWNERS, SO BE SURE TO UTILIZE THIS OPPORTUNITY. The Las Campanas Owners Association’s Administrative office and the Water/Sewer Coop office will be closed Monday, September 5th for the Labor Day holiday.
