No emergencies in Santa Fe residential real estate right now. In fact there is a lackadaisical attitude in play where buyers are still sitting on the fence waiting for the market to improve.
Funny but it is about as good as its going to get for buyers right now. Amazingly the buyers leverage has remained strong even with dramatic decreases in inventory and measurable improvement in sales totals.
So what are buyers waiting for? It cannot be lower rates as the experts are summarily predicting an increase in long term mortgage rates, possibly up a full point over the next 12 months.
