The refurbishment of the indoor pool at Las Campanas has gone spectacularly well, and the project is in its final stages. Repainting is underway near the clerestory and around the trim. The pool looks fantastic and we invite you to enjoy it beginning this Sunday, September 4th. Because the new surface takes a few weeks to fully cure, we will be sanitizing the pool with chlorine for the first three weeks after we re-open. After that we will gradually begin converting it to saline, which is our primary sanitizing agent.
As a convenience, we will continue to offer an adult swim for Las Campanas members from 8-10 a.m. at our outdoor recreation pool through Saturday, September 3. (Please be aware that the Splash class takes up half of that pool from
9-10 a.m. on Thursday and Saturday.) We also will host an adult swim for the last 10 minutes of every hour between 10 a.m. and closing through Saturday. In addition, those Las Campanas members who have been using the pool at Quail Run will continue to have access to that facility through Saturday, September 3.
On Monday, September 5 we will open the indoor pool for lap swimming from 6 – 8 a.m. before closing it for the swim portion of the Las Campanas Compadres Triathlon-taking place 8-11 a.m. After the Triathlon, the pool will follow normal operating hours.
