Starting July 20. Santa Fe’s outsize reputation as an arts destination is due in no small part to the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival which has brought music lover from around the world to the City Different during July and August since 1972. Under the artistic leadership of pianist/composer March Neikrug, the festival presents more than 80 concerts at venues around Santa Fe and Los Alamos. This year will see the completion of a two year cycle of performances of all of Beethoven’s string quartets by the Orion String Quartet. Whether you’re a traditionalist who favors Bach and Telemann or a lover of new music, the festival has something for everyone. Through August 25. Visit www.santafechambermusic.org.
