The 8th consecutive Art of Home tour will be held next weekend – February 23rd and 24th – sponsored by Santa Fe Properties, and encompassing some of the finest homes in Santa Fe. This showcase of fine homes and fine artwork is part of 17th annual ARTfeast art program, providing opportunities for young scholastic artists in Santa Fe.
All of the paintings, sculptures and other artworks presented in the homes are for sale, and representatives of the galleries or the artists will be available to answer questions about the artist and their work. Included in the homes this year is a home originally designed by celebrated New Mexico artist Frank Applegate, a ‘Parade of Homes’ winner, and a ‘mid-century modern’
A portion of all sales during the Art of Home Tour will go to ARTfeast, a non-profit organization in Santa Fe with the goal of ensuring that scholastic artists in Santa Fe and New Mexico have the chance to learn and grow in the visual arts.
“Every year, the feedback from the artists and from the public is tremendous,” said Candy Brenton, Marketing Director for Santa Fe Properties. “We had nearly 500 visitors to the homes last year, over the course of two days. As with previous years, a number of people tell us how great it is to see such a wide variety of architectural styles complementing the impressive artwork.”
