Mortgage Rate Update

We can breathe a sigh of relief as we have passed the April 15 deadline for filing our taxes – or extending the time, whichever we chose.  There has been relatively no change in the rates this week, except for the 30-year conforming rate, with one point.  Wall Street investors are parking their funds (again) in the bond market, rather than trusting the stock market to return well for them.  This movement could result in pushing rates downward again – we might even see rate drops by the end of the day and during the next week or so, as corporate 1st quarter earnings reports are anticipated to be weak.
