Message From Your Golf Pro at the Club at Las Campanas

February 29th, 2012
Dear Las Campanas Members,
With spring just around the corner and warmer weather at our doorstep, we wanted to pass along the timeline for the opening of the different areas of the course. As you know, Sunrise is currently open on temporary greens and the rear of the driving range is open for practice. We look forward to the upcoming season and will update you immediately should any of the below timeline change (these dates are subject to weather):
The putting green adjacent to the driving range will open March 15th for putting only.
The remainder of the Short Game facility at the Practice Park will open April 1st.
We are going to move off of the temporary greens, back to the putting surfaces April 1st.
On April 1st, we will open 27 holes for play; all of Sunrise and the front loop of Sunset.
The “back” loop to Sunset will remain closed until May 1st for the “Standardization” project; all 36 holes will be open at that time, earlier if progress allows.
The cover on the nearside of the driving range will be removed in April, but the tee will not open until May 1st at the earliest. The rear of the range will remain open until that time.
The re-built practice green that is adjacent to #1 Sunrise is growing in nicely and we hope to have that opened prior to the end of May.
Carts must remain on the paths until early spring, and will be allowed onto the course ASAP when the weather and turf conditions allow.
The golf shop at Las Campanas will continue its Wednesday-Sunday schedule through April 1st at the latest. Should weather and demand dictate, we will adjust as appropriate.

There is so much to look forward to this upcoming season. We will pass along updates as the spring approaches. Do not hesitate to let us know if we can do anything for you at the Club at Las Campanas.
With best wishes,
