Our Men’s Club Championship will be held next weekend August 28th – 30th. The men’s tournament will be played in match play format. This year’s seedings will be based on handicap index with last’s years Champion, Ted Hutton, holding the number one seed in the Gold tee division. The remaining men’s flights will be seeded off the Silver and Blue tees with handicap. Handicaps will be allotted and the competition will be based on net scores from these tees.
The Ladies’ Championships will the held from August 29th and 30th; there will be both gross and net divisions. It will be a 36 hole stroke play event and strokes will be given as they fall on the scorecard.
While Club Championships are traditionally more competitive, we encourage you to consider playing! It’s a great way to test your game and the competition is always friendly…
Lastly, you don’t want to miss our Couples Mixed Foursome Invitational, September 10th – 12th. Teams must have at least two members minimum in the group. Teams of four members are allowed. The format this year is on holes 1-9, Las Vegas Scramble and holes 10-18, Count one low net score on the Par 4’s and 5’s and two low net scores on the Par 3’s. You can register for the event on ForeTees or by calling the Golf Shop directly. All entries must be confirmed by September 4th.
