Update from the director of golf professional at The Club at Las Campanas, Jason Epstein PGA, for Las Campanas golf members:It’s hard to believe we are in February already. The Professional Staff and I, along with the Las Campanas Golf Committee, have been working to shape the 2014 Event Calendar. Our annual Event Booklet will be mailed out to you prior to months end. In the interim, I wanted to make sure you highlight some of the more popular events on your calendars prior to finalizing your plans for the summer.

Trans Miss
Additionally, I want to remind you that we will be hosting the 2014 Trans Miss Four Ball Tournament this coming September 6th to the 8th. Nationally recognized, Trans Miss membership is limited to the members of many of the Elite Clubs throughout the United States. To learn more about the Trans Miss Four Ball or Trans Miss in general, visit their web site at http://www.trans-miss.org/. We hope to have many Las Campanas member teams participate!
Staff
Lastly, I’d like to welcome back Erin Kato who has rejoined the staff on weekends and for most events. Erin’s role will be to assist in all areas with her usual upbeat attitude and wonderful smile. Professional Matt Smith will rejoin our team for the 2014 season mid February, picking up right where he left off. In March, we will welcome Golf Professional, Kyle Capps, who joins us full time from Indian Hills CC in Kansas City. As our team fills out over the next few months, we will keep you updated.
There are so many great events and activities to look forward to this year, there is something for everyone. Each is planned with great enthusiasm and detail, and with the hope that you will participate.
