Make your plans for the Las Campanas summer golf camp…
Summer is just around the corner and we are looking forward to another great year of summer camp. Attached you’ll find the registration form for your junior golfers. We’ll have a lot of fun and teach them golf and a respect for the game in the process. There are 5- one week sessions to choose from and guests of members are welcome. Our beginning golf program is set…
I am pleased to report the details for our beginning golf program this summer. In addition to the monthly free lesson days (which have been expanded), we are excited about our Golf 101- Get Ready, Golf program. The goal of this program is to get those of you who have never played, or who are new to the game, onto the course! There are three sessions to choose from:
- Tuesday and Wednesday May 28th and 29th
- Friday and Saturday June 21st and 22nd (Women Only)
- Friday and Saturday July 5th and 6th
9:30am to 2:00pm both days, lunch included
We will cover getting you acquainted with the golf operation, the golf swing, the short game, putting, etiquette, all of the FAQ’s you can think of, the rules of golf, and we will get you out onto the course to play both days! Each two day class will get you golf ready, guaranteed. To sign up please call the golf shop. There is room for everyone.
Pete Huber returns April 15th!
I am very excited to announce that Las Campanas Head of Instruction, Pete Huber, will be returning for his second season at Las Campanas a few weeks early, on April 15th. You can book lessons with Pete through ForeTees, or the golf shop directly, beginning April 1st. We are going to be introducing several programs in the weeks ahead and I look forward to sharing them with you in our next update. As always, it would be our pleasure to customize a specific program for you.
Custom Fitting Carts and Demo Clubs
We are in the process of receiving our fitting/demo equipment from all of golf’s leading manufacturers for the season. TaylorMade, Callaway, Ping and Titleist fitting carts will be available for your use by month’s end. We’ll be receiving full sets new TaylorMade and Titleist demo Clubs for your guests to use this year as well. Give us a call to set up a fitting, the new equipment this season has us all very excited!
The first tournament of the season is just around the corner…
Don’t miss the May 5th Cinco de Mayo tournament celebrating 20 years of golf at Las Campanas! We are encouraging all members to wear “throwback golf attire”. There will be a few twists during the scramble, it will be great fun, and we look forward to having everyone participate.
