The Professional Staff and Golf Committee have been hard at work planning the 2013 calendar over the past few months. The outline and structure were finalized in the October committee meeting and we are currently working with our tournament committee chairs and members to finalize the details for each event. This advanced planning will allow us to provide you with a golf specific calendar early next year that covers all of the details of the golf operation and will include detailed specifics on each event and program we have on the calendar for 2013. Our hope is that this will allow you to plan ahead to participate!
Golf Course Update
I am pleased to report that we will continue using the normal greens – holding off on moving to the temporary greens – until the weather cools. Additionally, we will continue to keep the golf shop open and the range set up on Mondays and Tuesdays until we move to temporary greens.
Please note, that as of this Monday, December 3rd:
- The Driving Range set up will be moved to the rear tee until next spring.
- We will be moving to “Cart Path Only” for the winter and into next spring as well.
- Only the front loop of Sunset and the back nine of Sunrise will remain open for play.
