On Wednesday, December 11th the Santa Fe City Council will present the “Muchas Gracias Award” to Lawrence and Suzanna Becerra for their ongoing efforts with the Las Campanas Compadres. The Becerras started Las Campanas Compadres in May of 2007, a wonderful program that offers therapeutic horseback riding and swimming lessons, free of charge, to people with special needs. This program would not exist without the tireless dedication of the Becerras, devoted volunteers (many of whom are Las Campanas members), and The Club at Las Campanas who donates the use of The Club at Las Campanas Equestrian Center and indoor pool. We are proud to have Lawrence and Suzanna as friends and members of The Club at Las Campanas.
