As some of you may be aware, The Club at Las Campanas supports two separate initiatives with the golf clubs that are dropped off for donation. The First Tee of Santa Fe has been the biggest benefactor of this support; from our conversations with them, I know they are so appreciative.
The second benefactor is The Central Park East High School Girls Golf Team. The High School, which is located in East Harlem, started a golf program for the girls a few years back. Their principal is Bennett Lieberman who is the son of Las Campanas member Marvin Lieberman. With the high School golf season set to begin soon, I hope you’ll consider donating any retired or unused equipment you have; the newer the better. If you drop it off at the golf shop, we’ll make sure it gets to East Central Park High. They are looking for ladies, senior and regular flex clubs.
