As some of you are aware, the game of golf is holding Patriot’s Golf Day this weekend. Started by PGA Member Dan Rooney, an Air Force Pilot who served in Iraq, Patriot’s Golf Day (the flagship fund-raiser for the Folds of Honor Foundation) raises money to benefit the families of those servicemen and woman who were killed in the line of duty.
Over the past five years this foundation has raised millions at the thousands of golf courses around the United States; there is a long way to go.
Over this Labor Day weekend, from Friday to Monday, the Club at Las Campanas will be contributing $1 from every round played to The Folds of Honor Foundation. If you would like to participate, in addition to this contribution, you can do so by replying to this email or letting the staff know on your day of play.
