Your golf professional at The Club at Las Campanas has sent you the following:

I hope this email finds everyone enjoying their weekend. I’m so glad to have seen so many of you enjoying golf over the past few days!

I wanted to send out a brief update on a few items as we head into the season’s home stretch, including this weekend’s Club Championship.
The Club Championship finals are tomorrow!
The Men’s and Ladies’ Club Championships finals are set. The ladies’ field is led by Marta Davis who fired a 84/67 today.  Georgie Hutton who fired an 86, is two shots back in the gross division and Rosa Silbert at 90/68 is one shot back in the net division.

The men’s finals are also set. In the Championship match, Jerry Miller (d. Ted Hutton 19 holes) takes on defending Champion Rob Schneider (d. Bob Sherman 2&1) in a rematch of our 2014 Championship. Other final matches include:

Nicklaus Flight/ Silver Tee – Gary Seger v. Joe Forehand
Player Flight/ Blue Tee – Lew Ribich v. Gene Still
Palmer Flight/ Blue Tee – Fred Klinghoffer v. Howard Alpern

The men’s flights begin at 8:25 and the ladies’ at 9:05. We encourage you to come out to root on your fellow members!
The Mixed Foursome Championship
I wanted to remind everyone that the Mixed Foursome Invitational will be held September 10th-12th. The 36-hole event is a four person team competition. Teams comprising members and guests or four members can play! For more information call the Golf Shop directly or reference your member event booklet. This is one of our best events of the year.
The Las Campanas Men’s Invitational
As you may have noted in prior correspondence, the Professional Staff is pleased to forward the dates for the 2015 Las Campanas Men’s Invitational, Sunday, October 11th to Tuesday, October 13th.

Head Professionals, Directors of Golf, Teaching Professionals, Assistant Professionals, and Tour Professionals are eligible to compete as Professionals…Amateurs must have an established handicap. Club’s can send multiple teams to The Invitational.

You are encouraged to invite professionals from your away Clubs to join them for this event. If you want to play but do not have a Professional to invite, I have a list of Professionals I can pair you up with.

The format will be the same as last year; 36-holes, best ball. Amateurs will be given 90% of their handicap in the team event and will compete for low gross and low net recognition as individuals. I am pleased to announce that there will be a Professional Stroke Play competition with a winner’s check guaranteed at $4,000, and a total purse guarantee of $15,000. While there certainly is a competitive aspect, the goal of our event is to allow participants a chance to enjoy our great Club, the camaraderie of the Professionals from other top golf Clubs, and the Las Campanas experience.

I look forward to seeing you at the Club soon!
With best wishes,

Jason
