Golf Update at Las Campanas

Hope you all are out enjoying this beautiful weather we are finally having! We wanted to update you on a few items of note over the next few weeks here at the Club at Las Campanas;

Farewell to Jason Epstein – Friday, April 22nd – 5:00 – 7:30
Originally planned for the Gran Sala, we have decided to move Jason’s farewell party to a more appropriate location downstairs in the Las Campanas Golf Shop at the Hacienda Clubhouse. Although the location has changed, the time will remain the same their will be wine and hors d’ oeuvres served. We encourage you to drop by and wish Jason the best in his new endeavor.

Sunset Opening this Saturday, April 23rd
As of Saturday, April 23rd we will have both golf courses at Las Campanas available for play. Sunset underwent aerification over two weeks ago and has healed nicely. We hope you will enjoy getting back out onto the #1 course in the State.

Sunrise Aerification Dates Moved
Due to the cooler night-time temperatures we have been experiencing as of late and the forecast for next week, we have decided it is in the best interest of our membership and minimizing the impact to play to move our Sunrise aerification back one week. By doing so, the turf should recover much more quickly. We will now be closing Sunrise, May 2nd to May 6th for aerification. If you are interested in learning more about this process and our decision to delay, please view the following video http://www.usga.org/videos/ 2013/03/27/usga-course-care- video–why-aerate– 2257797353001.html
Forecast for the next few days looks ideal for golf at Las Campanas.

We hope to see you all early and often this season!
Best Regards,
